NEW THIS YEAR!
In addition to the Creative Cookie Video and Bling Your Booth contests this cookie season, there will be bonus prize opportunities! Two additional Power Prizes will be awarded in each contest for the booth or video that best demonstrates the power of what a Girl Scout Cookie can do!
What A Cookie Can Do
Take a closer look at any box of Girl Scout Cookies and you’ll see it’s more than a box with delicious treats inside—it’s a building block of possibilities for Girl Scouts to explore and embark on new adventures.
Whether your troop plans to use this year's cookie proceeds to attend summer camp or travel across the world, the invaluable skills learned by selling cookies made it possible.
When designing your Creative Cookie Video and Bling Your Booth submissions, consider focusing on incorporating how your troop plans to use this year's cookie proceeds or think of way that participating in the Girl Scout Cookie program has made an impact on your life. Get creative with it and have fun!
For Example:
If you're saving up for camp this year, record a video of your troop camping out in the backyard, roasting marshmallows, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
If you're planning a trip to Italy with your troop, deck your booth out with Italian flair by hanging the Italian flag, building a mini leaning tower of Pisa, and creating a poster board sharing what you're most looking forward to.
If you're entering the contest as an individual, you could illustrate how your cookie proceeds helped fund a Highest Award project or a high adventure activity that built your confidence.
In addition to the Creative Cookie Video and Bling Your Booth contest winners, two 250 Cookie Credit Power Prizes will be awarded to the video and booth that best encompass what a cookie can do (one for Daisy, Brownie, Junior-level Girl Scouts and one for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador-level Girl Scouts)
Creative Cookie Video
Digital Cookie opens on Thursday, Jan. 9, and many Girl Scouts customize their Digital Cookie sites with their own cookie video, sharing their personal and troop goals.
Girl Scouts can enter the GSCO “Creative Cookie Video Contest” with their video sharing what they learned from selling cookies and their cookie goal, by filling out this form or posting on Facebook using #ShareYourCookieStory and tagging @GirlScoutsofColorado (make sure your social profile is public if you choose this option so we can see your post).
Make sure your video is recorded vertically. If the video is too large to upload, you can include a Dropbox or Google Drive link.
All entries must be received by Feb. 14 at 11:59 p.m. After your video is received, it will be uploaded to the Girl Scouts of Colorado YouTube and TikTok channels. The winner will be selected via GSCO panel and will be announced on GSCO social media channels at Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.!
*** Note: You must send the original file for your video to be included. Links to videos hosted on YouTube sites or your Digital Cookie site will not be accepted.
