A new indoor riding arena is under construction at Tomahawk Ranch! It is the result of an exciting partnership with Girl Scouts of Colorado and High Country Riders 4H group in Bailey!
GSCO will use this new arena for a variety of indoor programming. 4H will use it for single-day events with livestock. Any programming involving 4H livestock will be run by 4H and will not conflict with GSCO events or programming. Trail rides with off-site vendors will remain a part of GSCO camp programming. Tomahawk Ranch animals will remain in their current home in the barn.
Workers broke ground on the 100 ft. x 150 ft. arena in October 2016. The project is expected to be complete in November 2016. It is being paid for thanks to a joint partnership between Girl Scouts of Colorado and High Country Riders 4H group in Bailey.
Girl Scouts and outside users will be able to rent the indoor riding arena at Tomahawk Ranch for single-day events.
