Meet an Expert – FBI Counterterrorism

Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to a special webinar to learn more about the Intelligence and Counterterrorism Program with the FBI. A boring day in counterterrorism? Never! Every day is different depending on the situations and issues that arise. Assessing risks and potential threats to security is complex and challenging work, that has a real impact on society.

Rebecca Eshelbrenner, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst, FBI Counterterrorism Program will discuss her role within the FBI, and some of her experiences to-date. She’ll talk about her experience living in Brussels, Belgium, supporting counterterrorism investigations, as well as what it is like to be a female leader in the FBI. Don’t miss the opportunity to test your knowledge with some FBI trivia questions! After her presentation and activity there will be time for a live Q&A session. This is a great opportunity for girls to learn about the wide range of industries they could work in and what skills would help in a career in counterterrorism.

We will use Zoom to host this webinar. All information on how to join online or via phone will be emailed out to registrants the day before the webinar. Each individual participant should be registered so we can track participation. Please do not share the information on how to join with others who have not registered. The webinar will be recorded and posted to YouTube for girls to access in the future. Questions? girlexperience@gscolorado.org
