I chose to do this project because hunger is always a problem no matter where you live, and no one deserves to go hungry or stress if they'll have food on the table or not.
Most people tend to think that food scarcity is just an issue 'somewhere else' and not in their own communities.
In the beginning completing this project felt nearly impossible, but I've proven myself wrong and I have a new found confidence in my own ability to make a difference and tackle challenging tasks.
Being a Girl Scout is all about improving yourself and the world around you, all while making life long friendships. In my 10 years of Girl Scouts I know I've achieved all of those things and I'm proud of the person that Girl Scouts has helped make me into!
