On Saturday, September 18, Girl Scout Daisies gathered at Denver Botanic Gardens for a Between Earth and Sky Journey. The Gardens was so excited to welcome all of the scouts that attended, many of whom were visiting Denver Botanic Gardens for the first time! While at the Gardens, Girl Scouts took a journey through nature. Using a scavenger hunt, they identified different types of plants and explored what plants need to grow. Following the scavenger hunt, Girl Scouts visited activity stations to use their senses to explore colors and textures in nature, complete a seed dissection, learn more about what plants need to grow, and plant their very own spider plant to take home!
