The 2021 Fall Product Program kicked-off on Saturday, Sept. 11! Girl Scouts, along with troop and service unit fall product volunteers, can join the S’mores Club by participating in both the Fall Product and Girl Scout Cookie Program and meeting the criteria outlined below.
During the Fall Product Program, Girl Scouts learn all aspects of running an online business by using the M2 platform. M2 makes the experience girl friendly, with an easy-to-navigate dashboard where they can create a video, set their goals, create custom messages for their customers, create business cards, and the most popular feature, create their own avatar – which girls love! Girls earn program rewards too.
Custom Converse shoes were the S’mores Club reward last year – and they are back by popular demand! Girl Scouts and product program volunteers will also earn the popular S’mores Club patch with their avatar on it too, by meeting the criteria outlined below.
S’mores Club Qualifications
GIRLS: If you send 21+ emails and sell 21+ items during the 2020 Fall Product Program and 400+ packages during the 2021 Cookie Program, you get:
A pair of custom Converse shoes and a S’mores Club avatar patch
TROOPS: If the troop sells $550+ in *combined sales during the 2021 Fall Product Program, they get:
An exclusive booth selection opportunity for the 2022 Cookie Program
And – If the troop has a 400+ packages per selling girl average during the Cookie Program, the Troop Fall Product Manager and Troop Cookie Manager are eligible for volunteer rewards.
A pair of custom converse shoes and a personalized S’mores Club avatar patch for the TFPM and TCM**
For a quick reference, check out the S’mores Club flier and share it with girls and adults in your troop and service unit.
If you have questions, read our S’mores Club FAQ or contact inquiry@gscolorado.org.
Please note the following:
*Combined sales means, sales either made through the girls’ online storefront and/or orders taken with the order card – any combination of sales.
The troop per selling girl average (PSGA) is calculated based on the total number of packages a troop sells, divided by the number of selling girls in that troop.
New this year – the troop fall product manager (TFPM) and troop cookie manager (TCM) are eligible for volunteer rewards if their troop meets the reward criteria outlined, and the TFPM and TCM must also take Fall Product and Cookie Program training, send support emails to families through M2OS and/or DOC, and fulfill all other TFPM/TCM responsibilities and expectations of volunteer role (see TFPM and TCM job descriptions).
**If the TFPM and TCM are the same person, only one reward will be given.
IMPORTANT! TCMs must create an avatar in M2 before the end of the Fall Product Program. TCMs must submit their TCM volunteer agreement and coordinate with TFPMs to gain access to M2 (TFPMs can add them to M2) to create their avatar for the S’mores Club patch. If TCM’s do not create an avatar in M2, they will not receive a patch.
New this year – Attending product program training and fulfilling key volunteer responsibilities is also the criteria for service unit fall product manager (SUFPM) and service unit cookie manager (SUCM), to earn the S’mores Club patch and custom Converse shoes. ( See SUFPM and SUCM job descriptions)
The reward for adult volunteers is for troop or service unit participation only. Rewards are given to volunteers at the discretion of Girl Scouts of Colorado.
Juliette caregivers will not receive the custom Converse shoes, personalized patch, or an exclusive booth selection opportunity.
However, Girl Scout Juliettes can qualify for the S’mores Club and receive the custom Converse shoes and the S’mores Club patch by participating in both the Fall Product and Cookie Programs and meeting the girl requirements.
Girl Scouts of Colorado wants to hear how your girl is using her Girl Scout skills by taking initiative, caring for the community, and Girl Scouting at home. She can send in her story here.
